The black Pomeranian is not much different then the red and brown variety of Pomeranian, except it is black. It is a very intelligent dog and can be quite fierce when protecting its owners. The black Pomeranian has a pleasant temperament and makes a good first family pet. Even though a small dog, the black Pomeranian has a medium bone structure and is very sturdy. Its legs are in direct proportion to its body.

His coat stands up because his outercoat is short and coarse and his undercoat is long and coarse. It is the undercoat which pushes the outercoat to stand up straight. These dogs often have a guard dog look because of their straight up coat. The black Pomeranian is intelligent and quick to protect its owner. He is really sweet tempered, but can be fierce when necessary. His training and grooming should begin at a young age.

The black Pomeranian is a very active dog and is considered by most to be a bossy dog. They are extremely vivacious and very energetic. They are also very nosy dogs who get themselves into trouble quite regularly because of this nosy attribute. Their tails are set high and curl around to lay flat on the dogs back.

They eventually immigrated to Great Britain and for a long while were royal dogs. They were first brought into the American Kennel Club in 1900.

    i am feeling all of these amotions at once about my new pomeranians. they rock but have lots of energy
