Although you might not know it, you need to be very careful about the dog bowls and dishes you choose for feeding and watering your pooch. Some dogs do not like plastic bowls, some prefer elevated dog bowl, others may prefer stainless steel dog bowls. You get the idea. Every dog is different. Their personalities are different, so it only stands to reason that their preferences are different as well, especially when it comes to the dog food bowl they prefer.

Of course, the preferences of the owner factor in as well, for safety reasons. For example, ceramic dog food bowls are easier to chip. Those chips can attract and hold germs. That can be bad for your dog. It could lead to any number of infections, and you definitely do not want that to happen. As such, quite a few owners prefer a stainless steel dog water dish and food bowl. These bowls are easier to clean. They are resistant to scratches and chips as well.
