Marine fish are not house-trained animals, and will pursue their survival instincts in the tank, just as they do in the ocean. Marine fish inhabit oceans, narrow bay, tidal pools or salt marshes. Almost all species of marine fish are wild caught .Marine fish are more colorful than tropical freshwater fish, but also require more care and attention.

Tropical fish generally have very specific temperature requirements. Clownfish are a popular species of marine aquarium fish Compatibility. All marine fish are tanked for a specified period of time for acclimation, in proper water parameters, under specific conditions to allow the easiest adaptation to aquarium life. Marine fish are the hardest of all fish to keep. Most species of marine fish are sensitive to water conditions and do not adapt easily to a new aquarium, it is best to add the fish after the aquarium has been functioning for a few months.

Keep Your Pet Away From Unclean Grout

by Rick Amorey

Don’t let what happened to Rover happen to your pet, as well.

Just recently, Rover, my pet dog, was found to have black mold poisoning. As it turns out, my household had a fungus infestation somewhere around. Black mold is a potentially dangerous airborne fungus that strikes the lungs. This was a surprise to me, as I always took care to keep my household clean.

I went online to research on black mold and found out some interesting things about it. What got my attention in particular was the mold’s preference for breeding in moist areas. Armed with this information, I figured out where the black mold could’ve been growing and tracked it down.

It’s funny how I didn’t notice it before; but for all my cleaning, I have always neglected the grout in between my kitchen tiles! I always thought that it was rather insignificant; it doesn’t take too much space, after all. But apparently, grout is especially susceptible to becoming a breeding ground for black mold, thus making it necessary to clean it.
