You will want to wear the kind of clothes that make you feel comfortable when you go horseback riding. There are clothes called riding clothes or equestrian clothes that are made especially for horseback riding. Regular clothes such as stretch pants or any pants or shirts that fit comfortably are also fine to wear. Riding helmets made just to wear when your riding a horse will give you protection for your head. Following these horseback riding tips will always ensure your maximum comfort while riding.

Equipment such as a saddle, saddle pad and bridle needs to be comfortable so your horse feels at ease. A saddle should be level in the middle but the best way to tell if a saddle fits is by girthing it up and riding the horse. The main purpose of a saddle pad is to protect the horse from irritation from the saddle. Too much padding can cause excess pressure on the horses spine and nerves. Metal bridles can cause pain to the horse so make extra sure the bridle you use fits correctly. A bitless bridle is a great option and they are natural, lightweight and very comfortable.

Pet Insurance Can Reduce Stress if Your Pet Gets Sick

by Geraldine Dimarco

Despite the vast number of pet owners in the U.S., a huge percentage of them, believe it or not, do not have any form of pet insurance; these animals are, however, generally considered a part of the family - a family for whom every other member has insurance. We don’t hesitate to purchase health insurance for ourselves; should we be forgiven for not caring enough about our pets then?

Contrary to the belief of many, pet insurance is an important monthly expense; pet owners soon learn how costly it is when they require treatment if they haven’t taken out any pet insurance. No area is immune for price increases and vets fees are no exception.

The problem is that domestic animals are often more liable to be involved in an accident or become sick; the more you own, the greater the chance is, and if this does occur a couple of times a year, you will soon see your savings reduce.
