The Pomeranian is one of the most popular small breed dogs on the market today. Their celebrity has gained even more in recent years, with the onslaught of Hollywood starlets who proudly tote their precious little cuties to every single red-carpet event possible. What most people don’t realize is that, as adorably elegant as these dogs are, they make wonderful companions for anyone of any age. They are best known for their full coats, but of more importance is their capacity for love and affection.

With more and more people realizing what a wonderful family pet the Pomeranian is, it is difficult for an honest Pomeranian breeder to keep up with the demand for these sweet little dogs. A respectable Pomeranian breeder has a great many responsibilities when it comes to properly producing a litter of pups, not to mention the rigorous screening process to choose the right owner for each dog. Unfortunately, most people don’t understand this process, and are so anxious to get their hands on one of these dogs that they simply run off to their local pet store to purchase the dog of their dreams.

What To Know About Labrador Breeding

by Brooke Sunderland

A lot of people seem to focus on the money that can be made when it comes to Labrador breeding and they seem to forget that this is not a quick fix to their personal financial problems. Also, when giving proper Labrador care, there is going to be expenses involved that you are going to have to cover. Doing it right means that you will have a love for this breed and you want to share that with other people.

If proper Labrador care is given, then the breeding process is not going to be cheap at all. Also, the worst thing a person can do is set up a puppy mill as their lack of concern of love for animals will show through. Not only will you miss out on business but it is almost certain that within time, you will be reported, shut down, fined and possibly even jailed for animal neglect.
