You have probably already put a lot of thought into dog names and what you want to call your new puppy. Is it really that important? You betcha, you will be calling your dog by that name day in and day out for years to come. So coming up with popular dog names that still sound unique can become quite a challenge.

Owners can choose a different types of dog names. Some choose people names such as Charles or Abbey. To be a bit more creative you can go with names from movies such as The Beast from the Sand Lot, Hercules, or even Lassie.

What I love so much about dog names is that they are not held to the rigid standards that our own human names are held to. You have so much more room for creativity and can really come up with something that is completely original. So be sure you don’t let this opportunity slip through your fingers by choosing a boring dog name.

Permanent Dog Training

by Stuart M.Russell

Owning a dog is probably among the best experiences a human being could possibly have. It can also become a nightmare if you let the dog behave in anyway it wants. Bad habits are easily developed, and dogs are no different to children in this aspect. You’ll have to train the dog to cooperate with you, whether it’s feeding, walking, playing, sleeping or toilet training.

Owning a well-trained dog will be a great experience, but the process won’t be a breeze. It’s rather clich, but the training is a journey you and your dog have to take together, in gradual steps. Firstly, you must ensure your family is involved in the training and plays an active part in the process.

Then, you have to agree on what the dog’s role is going to be, and where the dogs is allowed in the house - work out all the details. Your dog needs very specific and reliable instructions if it is to be trained properly.
